Accuweather forecast: Sunshine Slow to appear with cooler heights

ABC7 News Meteorologist Drew Tuma has your Accuweather forecast for Wednesday.

San Francisco (KGO) – Rain is back in the Bay area Friday after three and a half weeks of dry weather, which has been one of the driest January on the record. Foresee the stormy weather that clings around the weekend and into large parts of next week.

FRIDAY

  • This will be a level 1 on ABC7 News Storm Impact Scale.

  • Rain will be stable in the morning. Showering gets scattered and easier in the afternoon.

  • Precipitates varying from .25 ” – .75″

Next 7 days

  • Throughout next week, many cities will see between 1 “to 3” rain.

  • North Bay can see floods on Monday and Tuesday when rainfall starts to pour up.

  • Some areas of northern Sonoma Co., Lake and Mendocino Co. could see 6 “+ rain

  • Sierra is likely to see 2 to 3 feet of new snow. However, some of the more extreme guides say 8FT+
