Worcester Parking ban set until 7 p.m. 23 Tuesday

Several schools in northern Worcester County open two hours later than usual Wednesday after the region received a blanket of snow overnight.

No changes have been announced for Worcester.

The Delayed openings Include Leominster, Lunenburg, Narraganst Regional, Quabbin Regional and North Middlesex Regional, among others.

A parking ban in Worcester will be lifted at. 10 Wednesday.

Much of the region received a small amount of snow. Removal effort is helped with hot afternoon temperatures. The thermometer could rise to 40 degrees Wednesday afternoon according to the National Weather Service.
