Former Nhler and Member of the Toronto Maple Leafs family goes away tragically

Shawn Simpson, a former scout of Toronto Maple Leafs, and a top NHL goalkeeper’s prospectus in his draft, has unfortunately died at the age of 55.

The Hockey Society, especially in the province of Ontario, is fighting together to mourn the loss of a former Nhler, scout, Front Office director and a well-known hockey TV company and podcaster.

Shawn Simpson, the first net memories chosen in the NHL Post in 1986, has tragically and suddenly died at the age of 55.

Simpson or ‘Simmer’ which he was lovingly known had spent the last few years doing ‘Simmer Down’ podcast even though his last episode was in 2023. He also worked with the TSN 1200 in Ottawa.
