During the interview, Strahan Leavitt pressed the influence this policy could have on the employees who decide to leave their jobs.

“Is there any concern that we risk losing people with years of experience as doctors and let’s say, scientists?” Said Strahan.

Leavitt opposed the expert this question and explained that most doctors are already spending their time on site to work.

“Well, most doctors who work in actual hospitals and medical institutions have to show up to the office,” Leavitt said.

“We know employees are more productive and more efficient when working in one in the office.”

Leavitt, the youngest press secretary ever in the White House, continued to explain that President Trump’s administration believes that is what the American people want.

“That’s what this administration expects and I think that’s what US taxpayers expect,” she said.

“Don’t forget it is the American people who finance this government and they deserve people who actually show up to work on their behalf.”

GMA viewers sided with Leavitt on social media and toasted Strahan for his questions.

“Michael Strahan seems to be missing the point here. Return-to-Office policy is not about losing experienced professionals as doctors or scientists; it’s about accountability,” said a viewer.

“Michael Strahan, who makes news, is worse than Joe Namath, who makes car insurance commercials,” another viewer said.

“Did he work from home when he played in the NFL?” Said a third viewer.

“Karoline Leavitt just took another soul on live -tv. She’s like fake news’ ugly reaper,” said a fourth viewer.

“Leavitt destroys Michael Strahan over Trump’s eo,” a fifth fan said.

Leavitt, 27, who is married to millionaire Tycoon Nicholas Riccio, shot to fame earlier this week after delivering a ‘Masterclass’ first briefing on Trump’s Presidency.

The gun -loving Republican, 27, tied the knot with Riccio, 59, in a secret wedding and gave birth to their first son, Niko, in July.

“And that’s what we’ve been looking to do for many, many decades.”

Trump suggested that federal employees will also be asked to “prove” that they did not work another job during their remote working period.
