Bullseye for the heavier snow -lots run over the Palmer Divide areas from Douglas County over Elbert to Eastern Arapahoe and Adam’s counties. These areas may see as much as 8 inches of snow in more preferred areas. There is an advice in winter weather sent to these areas from the northern side of Colorado that pops up in Castle Rock, park up through Fort Morgan and East Out to Limon.

Because this system is so hot, it will have some convective elements with it, which means banded areas with heavy snow next to lighter amounts only a few miles away. As a result, areas south and east of Denver will look heavier snow, while Downtown Denver and Areas west of I-25 will hardly have any accumulation at all.
