Grizzlies -Star is not expected to play vs rockets

Memphis Grizzlies are likely to be short -handed for a divisional match at FedExforum.

Stars Point Guard Yes Morant “is expected to” trend “against missing Thursday’s match against Houston Rockets Due to the right shoulder wound, Grizzlies said Taylor Jenkins.

Morant was added to the damage report on Thursday morning and listed as questionable. He was later downgraded to questionable.

“I expect him to be out tonight,” Jenkins said.

“When he is in there, he has given us everything he has, which is a testimony to him,” Jenkins said. “Hopefully he jumps back from this in the short term.”

This is Morants 20. Missed games this season. Memphis is 12-7 when Morant is not available.

Morant is an average of 20.3 points and 7.5 assists per day. Match this season. Despite another strong season from the Grizzlies star, he struggles through his worst stretch.

Houston (32-14) is another caliber of opponent and will be a stronger test. Grizzlies are 0-3 against Rockets this season.
