Houston Astros Infield Target agrees to deal with Seattle Mariners

Houston Astros was associated with Jorge Polanco on two separate times this season.

When it looked as if Alex Bregman would not return, it was reported that Astros was interested in the veteran infielder to potentially fill the opening.

But when they acquired Isaac pared as part of the package in the Kyle Tucker trade, it no longer seemed like Houston was considering signing the 11-year-old Big Leaguer.

Just as reports began to get out of the front office seriously considered a reunion with Bregman, it was also revealed that they looked at the possibility of adding polanco if their franchise legend decided to sign elsewhere.

Well, Polanco is no longer available.

Sore Ken Rosenthal from AthleticHe has accepted an agreement with the Seattle Mariners, where he joined the team with which he spent last season after acquiring him in front of this previous campaign.

No financial details have been released at the time of writing.

Adding another infielder has been something the front office seems to do despite already having a full group of Mauricio Dubon that was cleaved into the tool’s mandr role.

Jose Altuve has been floated as someone who could be in a role change, move out of his place on the second base and take over the left field despite never playing there at any time during his prominent great league career.

Of course, the polanco development is putting more attention to bringing Bregman back.

It looks like Houston is ready to go with their plan to move Altuve to the left to fill that hole.
