The NBA always has more stars than All-Star spots, and it was clear once again when the league revealed the full guards in 2025 All-Star Game on Thursday.

Among those to be cut down, first-hour Victor Wembanyama and 21-hour LeBron James are. Six teams had several choices, while only two teams over .500 – Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings – had none. The game is again stacked with recognizable talent, but there were many more players in addition to the 24 selected players.

It includes NBA’s leaders in assists, rebounds and East All-Star-Fan votes.

Here are the most notable names that need to miss the honor, though we make something plentiful clear: These are not snubbed in the sense that these guys are clearly more deserving than anyone who got the cut. We’re just talking about guys who at least seemed worthy in a league with more all-star worthy players than spots.

At least one of those who were not chosen could also hear their name soon called, depending on how serious Anthony Davis’ injury is. The All-Star game in 2025 is scheduled for February 16 in San Francisco.

No player has an average of several assists per day. Match than Young’s 9.7 since his NBA debut, a period where he has an average of 25.2 points per Battle (12. In NBA). It certainly sounds like a perennial all-star, but Young has now missed the game for the fourth time in his seven-year career.

Young currently leads NBA in assists per Fight with a career high 11.4, but his lack of efficiency (40.2% shooting, 34.2% from deep, 4.7 revenue per match) and Hawks’ lack of success (22-25 record, ninth in the East) left him again from the guard plan.

Sabonis has played 44 games this season. He has recorded a double-double in 42 of them. For a third year, he leads NBA in rebounding with 14.5 per year. Match. Kings has taken a step back this year, as shown in the firing of head coach Mike Brown, but Sabonis is a three-time all-star game as well as he has ever done.

This is the guy who probably gets the call if Davis can’t get to San Francisco.

Take Young’s case, then add some scores and supporters of social media, and remove some passers -by and team winners and you have Ball’s case. The 23-year-old has taken a step forward this year with 28.2 points per year. Battle, but Hornets has not made him any favors on 12-32.

Ball led the league in the fan who voted for the starting voting, but has now missed the game together. He is also dealing with an ankle sprain, so his availability to ASG was already in doubt.

Kawhi Leonard has played nine games this season and stays on a minute limit. Clippers are still 27-20, good for the sixth in the west. A rescue James Harden was recognized as a reason why with his 11th career all-star selection, but just as important has been Powell.

The 33-year-old regularly starts for the first time in his four-season Clippers career and average a career high 24 points per day. Match, which leads the team. He lifted his eyebrows with his “addition by subtraction” comment on Paul George, but he has more than backed up.

Had he played a few more games, Wagner would probably prepare to fit his first career All-Star Game. The Germans missed 20 games due to a torn oblique, but he was all-star-worthy in the 28 he played.

The 6-Foot-10 wing has added more relief to an already well-rounded game, which is a key component of one of NBA’s top defense. As long as he can stay healthy, he is well on his way to hear that his name called for more all-star games down the line.

Suns remain a bit of a mess but booker is not the problem. Like when Phoenix won 50-Plus games per. Season, scores booker on a loud clip while tiling more than his reasonable share of assists.

The NBA has made it pretty clear that it doesn’t think much about big numbers on bad teams, but it doesn’t really hold a booker if Suns is still 24-22 thanks to primarily him and Kevin Durant.

Cavaliers already had three All-Stars with Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Evan Mobley. There is an argument they deserved a fourth, Prime Golden State Warriors style. Allen is the team’s defensive stalwart, Cleveland’s leading rebounder and the East leader within an effective field target percentage of .703.

It is difficult to make an all-star game when you average fewer than 15 points per day. Battle, but Allen is the type of player that can still make a case.
