Dave Matthews does not appear on FireAid or a Musicares advantage, with reference to a critical family disease

Los Angeles (AP) – Dave Matthews will no longer perform by FireAid, A star -studded benefit concert arranged to Los Angeles area Wildfire ReliefOr Music Person of the Year is beneficial to Galla this week.

According to a post shared to the official Dave Matthew’s band Instagram account, “because of a critical illness in the family,” Matthews is no longer able to perform on any of the events.

A representative of the band told the Associated Press that there will be no further comment.

At FireAid Matthews was scheduled to perform at the Kia Forum along with John Mayer For the first time.

All revenue from FireAid will benefit those affected by fires. EN 501 (C) (3) was created and contributions to FireAid will be distributed under the Annenberg Foundation, which with FireAid has assembled a small selection to advise.

Friday Matthews was scheduled to appear on Musicares’ 2025 People of the Year Distribute gala in honor of Grateful Dead.

Musikares is an organization that helps music people who need financial, personal or medical assistance.

Earlier this month, Recording Academy – the people behind Grammys – and its affiliated Musikares Los Angeles launched four relief efforts with a $ 1 million donation. According to a letter sent to members on January 13, thanks to additional contributions, they have already distributed $ 2 million in relief.
