Baton Rouge, La .– Mikaylah Williams scored 37 points, including a 3-point to start a game closure 6-0 race, and No. 7 LSU exceeded no. 13 Oklahoma 107-100 Thursday night.

Flau’jae Johnson added 25 points, and Aneesah Morrow scored 21 for Tigers (22-1, 7-1 Southeastern Conference), which led by 24 points late in the third quarter before allowing Soners (16-5, 4-4) to Rally.

The LSU tip Sa’myah Smith and Oklahoma tip Liz Scott were pushed out after pushing midway through the first quarter of the extremely physical game, which also contained three technical errors.

Oklahoma scored 17 other half points from 11 revenue, which burned a comeback that twice cut LSU’s lead to a point in the last 1:35.

LSU got two offensive rebounds on its next possession, and Williams worked quietly on a high screen and drained a 3-pointer with 20 seconds left to a 104-100 lead. Seven seconds later, Johnson scored on a breakdown line from a blocked shot of Aalyah del Rosario.

Key State

LSU made a season high 12 3-Pointers, which was more than the Tigers hit in their three previous SEC games combined.
