Sir Rod Stewart and Wife Penny Lancaster cut a glamorous figure as they posed for cameras ahead of his performance at Fireaid Benefit Concert on Thursday night.

When he looked far younger than his 80 years, he cosiated himself to his wife, who looked more in love than ever at the event, which was to raise funds for the people affected by the recent La -Wilder fires.

Revenue from the concert and donations made during the show held in two separate venues over Los Angeles will go to rebuild communities in the area that were destroyed in the wake of the tragedy.

Penny, 53, looked every empty Rockstar -wife in an on -trend faux fur leopard print coat, which she wore over a pelated leather skirt and a black silk and lace camisole top.

She added short boots and fishing nets tights to esemble to highlight her long legs. She accessories with a small jeweled coupling bag. Her heeled boots saw her tower over her husband.

Rod wore a black suit with white decoration on the collar and composed it with a white shirt. Around his neck he wore the medal he received when he got a knight’s closet, which he proudly showed off.

The couple were inseparable in front of Rod’s performance. Penny connected his arm when they came in and he made sure he stayed close to her side.

Before the concert bar had sent a message on Instagram that encouraged people to donate to the cause.

“Hi this is Rod Stewart, I’ve flown all the way from England to be in for tonight’s fire aid cause,” he said.

LA is very special to me, I’ve lived here for 50 odd years, I’ve only moved back to England a few years ago.

“It’s in my heart, and it’s in my soul, so let’s get lots of money for tonight. Wonderful event. It’s going to be great. “
