Note that this forecast can be changed. Heavy rain and other influences can occur at any time over the next several days.

Thursday at noon: Further intensification of thunderstorms and heavy rain is expected to occur around noon and all afternoon. Oahu is expected to receive a round of thunderstorms before noon. The latest weather models also push some thunderstorms over Maui County, starting in the early hours of the afternoon.

Thursday night: The cold front associated with this low pressure system will begin to move to the southeast after stopping our northwest through most of Thursday morning. Heavy rain, isolated thunderstorms and strong winds continue all evening and overnight.

Friday morning: The affiliate front has moved over Oahu and Kauai before Friday morning and holds most of the rainfall over the eastern half of the state. The western half of the state will slowly dry during Friday morning and be replaced with cool and dry air.

Friday afternoon: The effects will slowly fall all afternoon. Hawaii Island will continue to see scattered showers like the front booths over or just east of the island.

Saturday: Cooled and dry air is expected to fill all over the state. Sunny sky is expected over the weekend. Due to the cool and dry air moving in, some low temperatures in the morning will be low to the mid -60s.
