Body found close to where the sisters disappeared in Aberdeen | Aberdeen

A body has been regained from the river Dee in Aberdeen close to where two sisters disappeared in early January.

Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32 and originally from Hungary, were last seen at CCTV near Dee by Aberdeen Harbor early in the morning Tuesday, January 7 and went towards a path along the river.

Police have not yet confirmed the identity of the person found on Friday and have not yet associated the discovery of their search for women.

In a statement, the strength said: “We were made aware of the body by a person seen in the river Dee near Queen Elizabeth Bridge in Aberdeen around 07:55 on Friday. The body has been extracted from the water and queries are underway. “

Police Scotland deployed divers, cadaver dogs and helicopters in search of the women who were part of triplets. Officers said they found no evidence of bad play and suspected women had gone into the river.
