Sir Rod Stewart, 80, leaves fans fans when they see distracting details under four Aid LA concert: ‘Can’t believe it!’

Sir Rod Stewart, 80, was one of many big names that went to the stage as part of a star-studded benefit concert with over 25 great artists across two Los Angeles playing places last night to raise funds for victims of devastating wildfires.

Fires, which began in early January, claimed 29 lives and destroyed more than 16,000 buildings over Los Angeles.


The concerts were held at the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in Inglewood, two large arenas about a mile apart.

Billie Eilish and Green Day opened the show with a gripping duet of last night on earth and sang, “If I lose everything in the fire.”

Meanwhile, appearing at the Intuit Dome, Sir Rod Stewart from England flew specifically to the event and said, “LA is very special to me, I have lived here for 50 odd years.”

He also left fans in hysterik when he joked playing “new” material, only to belt his classic smash hit, Maggie May.

Elsewhere, 81, Joni Mitchell delivered a fantastic reproduction of both sides now as he sat on a decorated gold -ridden throne, wearing shades and holding a jeweled sugar cane.

Nirvana staged a surprise association with female vocalists St Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett and Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet performed Cobain’s parts.

The Red Hot Chili pepper fruits performed hits, including under the bridge, Lady Gaga sang a previously unreleased song for crowds, and Stevie Wonder went to the stage at the Intuit Dome with other stars, including Katy Perry and Lil Baby.

While the music brought an uplifting mood to the arena, there were also gripping moments to reflect on the destruction that fires caused.

Top Gun: Maverick Star Miles Teller broke his silence at the event of losing his home in Palisades four and saying to the audience, “My heart breaks for everyone affected.”

Meanwhile, undoubtedly reunited to perform their hits on the Kia Forum, Earth, Wind & Fire performed several of their topping singles, and John Mayer performed solo and said to the audience, “It’s an honor to be here tonight.”

The concert was broadcast live across several streaming platforms including Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube. At least 2,000 seats were reserved for first respondents, firefighters, police officers and people who lost their homes.

While the event and its artists were praised for getting together to raise money for those affected by fires, it is safe to say that Stewart was definitely one of the most talked about.

Social media was soon monitored by praise for the 80-year-olds, with many blown up by the details that Maggie can Hitmaker’s energy and flawless vocals seemed to defy the fact that he had become an octogenarian just weeks earlier.

On x wrote a fan excited: “Oh hell yes !!! This is legendary s ** t. Rod stewart is f *** ing 80 years old, guy. #Fireaid.”
