“We are husband and wife,” she told the station. “We decided who is going to, who will be at home,” she said. “We decided he would go to the development camp.”

“I am incredibly sad about sharing the news that several members of the art skating associated with the University of Delaware were among those who tragically lost their lives in an aircraft’s collision last night in Washington, DC,” his statement read .

“Kirsanov and the skaters trained in the university’s high-performance gym, which uses out Ice Rink facilities and has been training homes for many years with several skating in world-class of our students and coaches have trained and competed with those who were lost.”

Kirsanov’s daughter, Nicole, also issued a tribute to social media after the loss of her father.

“I miss you dad I would do everything to bring you back and tell you that I loved you once again,” she wrote in a post on Instagram.

Kirsanov was an eight-time national coach and a three-time international junior world coach with almost a decade of experience.
