
DOJ fits Ticketmaster at lower fare. Here’s what we know.
The Ministry of Justice is suing Ticketmaster and Live Nation, which claims the company has monopolized the live entertainment industry.
The Weeknd’s latest Blockbuster concert tour brings him to Ford Field on May 24, the second night of his just advertised after hours to Dawn Stadium running with the opener Playboy Carti.
The new North American tour repeats the name of its 2022 outing, which contained a massive, hits-filled production that also went to Ford Field.
Tickets for The Weeknd’s upcoming tour will be sold at. February 10th through Ticketmaster. ONE Pre -sales registration is in progress now, with these tickets available from 7 p.m. 10 Wednesday to 7 p.m. 9 Thursday.
Users of the cash app card also have access to early tickets for Weeknd’s US dates, including Detroit, which starts at 1 p.m. 10 Thursday. A dollar from Each purchase of cash app seat Will go to Los Angeles Wildfire Relief efforts.
Friday’s tour message comes on the heels of the R&B Super Star’s sixth studio album, “Hurry Tomorrow”, released overnight and with guests like Travis Scott and Lana del Rey. The release ends an album trilogy that includes 2020’s “After Hours” and 2022’s “Dawn FM.”
“Hurry Tomorrow” is also the name of the upcoming Lionsgate game movie with Weeknd, Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. Outside May 16, the film contains a score of The Weeknd and Daniel Lopatin.
The tour of 2025, which also includes producer instrumentalist Mike Dean as a special guest, is scheduled to launch May 9 in Phoenix and cover on September 3 in San Antonio. The itinerary includes a couple of July dates at The Weeknd’s Hometown Rogers Center in Toronto.
The Weeknd’s May 9-Show joins a growing docket of Ford Field concerts this year, including Billy Joel-Stevie Nicks (March 29), AC/DC (April 30), Post Malone-Jelly Roll (18. May) and Kendrick Lamar (June 10).
