Warmer this afternoon with some breaks in the rain

Richmond, Va. – Skies will mostly be cloudy cloudy this afternoon. Another batch of rain arrives late in the afternoon and lasts in the evening. A rumble about the thunder is possible. Heights will be in the 50s to the northwest, in the 60s above the subway and in the 70s in southern and southeastern Virginia.

Rain leaves the region tonight. The final rainfall will be 1/2 “to 1”, but located totals around 2 “are possible.

Saturday will mostly be sunny with heights in the middle to the top 50s.
Sunday will be cooler with more clouds around. Heights will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Highs will wave back to 65-70 Monday. Another cold front will push heights back in the 50s Tuesday and Wednesday.

The next system brings some showers to the area on Wednesday night into Thursday.
