Twin Cities temperatures reach about 40 degrees, 15 degrees above average for the day.

Freezing temperatures return in the evening.

Cloud coverage increases by Saturday morning, which results in more chances of rainfall.

Snow options are likely to rise by the middle part of Saturday, especially north of Interstate 94. However, warm temperatures in the twin towns can make these light snowflakes into light gossip, dripped or rain at the late afternoon and evening.

Saturday temperatures are expected to reach 36 degrees in the afternoon, 38 degrees in the evening.

Duluth, Hibbing and Ely, could see 2-4+ inches of snow.

North Shore is under a winter storm clock where more than 6 inches of snow could accumulate.

Sunday is likely to be a dull day of lingering moisture, but will still be seasonable mild.

More winter -like temperatures return Monday and Tuesday with temperatures in teens and make twenties.
