Pelicans’ Dejointe Murray apparently does not suffer contact damage vs. Celtics

New Orleans Pelican’s guards Dejointe Murray left Friday’s game against Boston Celtics after looking to have suffered a non-contact injury.

It is unclear what Murray’s injury is at this time. The Pelicans quickly excluded him for the rest of the game with an lower leg injury.

On the piece where the damage happened, Murray went up for a rebound from his own miss. But after securing the ball, he immediately curled down on the floor and grabbed the back of his right ankle.

Murray eventually left the game with 3:51 back in the first quarter. Originally, he hobby from the field under his own power, but needed help to return to the dressing room afterwards.

Murray left the game with four points, five rebounds and three revenue and shoots 2-for-6 from the field.
