UFC Saudi Arabia Weighing results for February 1

Israel Adesanya had us a little scared for about an hour before the weigh -in with a post asking if he would miss weight. It turns out that the former UFC middleweight champion was one of the first warriors on the map on February 1 to step on the scales of Saudi Arabia.

Adesanya was not only on weight – he would have been good, even though Saturday’s main event was a title match. Adesanya tilted the scales of 185, just like his opponent, Nassourdine Imavov. Fortunately, the main event is set.

If anyone made us nervous, it was rising middleweight star and co-main event fighter Shara Magomedov. He was one of the last fighters weighing in. He was one of the last fighters who came on the scale, but he gained weight.

Magomedov’s opponent, Michael “Venom” side, who usually fights against welter weight, made the limit of 185 pounds without any problems.

A fighter missed weight, Lucas Alexander. He missed 2.5 PSOUNDS. Bogdan degree receives a percentage of his purse.

Here is a look at all the results of the road in Saudi Arabia.

This card is rarely.

It’s a fighting night event with nine ranked warriors in action. Although there is probably no one on the map who is a win away from a titled shot, there are a few who are close. In the past, the Saudis have pressed on cards falling somewhere between a pay-per-view and a fighting night out of the tip of Las Vegas.

If IMavov can beat Adesanya in the main event, you will have to think he’s next for a shot after Khamzat Chimaev fights against the winner of the Dricus du Plessis against Sean Strickland, which will happen in March at UFC 312 in Sydney, Australia.

This situation makes Saturday huge to IMAVOV, as it can be difficult for him to clamp the ladder again if he fails.

Rozenstruk probably jumped to No. 7 from No. 9 if he beats Pavlovich. While Pavlovich is No. 4, Rozenstruk would probably not land in the top 5 with a win because he had jumped Curtis Blaydes and Jabonton Almeida.

Rozenstruk already lost to Almeida via the submission of the first round in May 2023 and to Blaydes by unanimous decision in September 2021.

Something tells me that the card becomes memorable beyond the warriors involved. Be looking for match day coverage, including results, highlights and reactions.
