Miles Teller takes it ‘day by day’ after losing home in Palisades four (exclusive)

Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy talked to “Extra’s” Terri Seymour about their new sci-fi horror-action flick “The Gorge.”

They play two elite operatives designated for positions in watchtowers on opposite sides of a huge and highly classified gap that protects the world from a mysterious evil lurking within.

Teller explained why he would be involved and said, “If Logline is just ‘two snipers who fall in love with each other through their scopes …’ It’s just interesting.”

He continued, “In the middle of it is the love story and the feeling that must be carried throughout this kind of journey for these two characters. That’s what always makes me happy … is an emotional payout. “

The movie has it all, including some dance for both Miles and Anya. Anya shared that she even made a dance scene that was cut!

She revealed, “It was Drasa Dancing for Iggy Pop while she made a cake and it was Fab.”

The two also shot at their sniper training, and who is the better shot.

Anya explained, “We were both trained by different people (miles) by an American veterinarian and me by a Lithuanian, and it is so interesting to see how the two countries approach it differently.”

Miles added: “I had never had any sniper training specifically, so I was that I was fascinated by it. I mean, attention to details how much study goes into it to get the perfect shot, it’s really a science. So I loved it. ”

As for who’s the better shot, Taylor-Joy admitted that she has “terrible sight” but was a “really good shot.”

When Terri asked if she was better than him, he laughed and said, “Sure.”

On a personal note, Miles opens how he and his wife Keleigh manage after losing their home in Palisades four.

“We’re doing okay,” he said. “This is honestly, this is a nice distraction. It’s just difficult. I think that every day you are just kind of to find out things a little more every day and I’m lucky that I have a really wonderful life partner to review this with. “
