Deloitte and May Mobility go together to increase autonomous transport security

US-based autonomous driving start May Mobility has collaborated with Deloitte to improve the security of autonomous transport through data and analysis.

This collaboration aims to tackle consumers’ concerns highlighted in Deloitte’s 2025 Global Automotive Consumer Study, which found that security is a highest priority for those who use autonomous transport solutions.

The partnership between Deloitte and May Mobility will utilize their respective strengths in data analysis and autonomous vehicle technology.

The data from May Mobility’s implementations allows for close monitoring of security events. It also provides insight to help improve the safety results of riders.

Deloitte’s autonomous vehicle data platform is a key component of this initiative that offers transport planners and operators insight to optimize autonomous mobility in their community.

By 2024, Deloitte and May Mobility launched their Insight Services through the Accessibili-D autonomous vehicle program in Detroit.

This service has been instrumental in urban and university researchers, including those from the University of Michigan, to improve the AV system, helping older adults and people with disabilities access to important services.

The insight gained from this program is now set to be integrated into the autonomous vehicle strategies for other municipalities and companies globally.

The new collaboration merges Deloitte’s expertise in data, software engineering and AI with May Mobility’s AV system data as well as further information on weather, urban infrastructure and riding in.
