George RR Martin on ‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’

George RR Martin teases Game of Thrones Prequel A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Hedge Knight And praises the HBO series.

Martin took to his Personal blog To share that the series had “wrapped the first season months ago and moved straight to post production.”

“I’ve seen all six episodes now (the last two in rough cuts, admittedly), and I loved them,” Martin wrote. “Dunk and eggs have always been favorites for me, and the actors we found to make are just incredible.”

He continued, “The rest of the role crew is also fantastic. Wait until you meet the grinning storm. and tansle too high. ”

A knight of the seven kingdoms is based on a number of fantasy novels by Martin, first released in 2005, and set approx. 90 years before the events in Game of Thrones.

“It is as faithful as adaptation as a sensible man could hope for (and you know everyone how incredibly reasonable I am on the particular topic),” Martin wrote. “Viewers looking for action, and more action, and only action … yes, this one cannot satisfy you.”

He continued, “There is a huge fighting scene here, as exciting as anyone could ask for, but there are no dragons this time, no huge blows, no white hikers … This is a piece of character, and its focus is on guard and honor , on the chivalry and all that means. “

Martin roses the adaptation of Hedge Knight is a major, as the author has previously said that most TV and film customizations are never made better than the source material.
