Manchester United punished by Mateta Double in Defeat of Crystal Palace | Premier League

Ruben Amorim’s desire to “create a certain danger” flamed at the beginning of every half, then faded when Manchester United were sucked by Jean-Philippe Mateta’s second goal of 89 minutes, sealing a first defeat in four games.

United and Crystal Palace were becalm in front of the target except when the Eagles twice utilized the website’s slipshod backline.

Mateta’s second was simple. Ismaïla Sarr drew a challenge near halfway and slid the ball into Daniel Muñoz. He ran forward and squared to No. 14, which did not miss.

This followed André Masturbation’s lead feet that caused the palace opener: The homeholder could not tip over Maxence Lacroix’s header of Eberechi Ezes 64.

The desire for more attacking threat was behind Amorim’s rejection of choosing Rasmus Højlund or Joshua Zirkzee and inserting Kobbio Maino as a fake # 9 – a first for the main coach.

It failed, though you can see the Portuguese’s reasoning, as Maino is a much better technician than Hølund or Zirkzee, the United Ball Stickability gives and as the FA Cup winner illustrated, he has a nose to target.

In a liquid back-to-front movement, there was evidence. Bruno Fernandes lifted the ball to a galloping Nossair Mazraoui. He went to Maino in the area, the No. 37 slid into a wide right zone, twisted and crossed: Alejandro Garnacho’s shot demanded a corner that gave nothing.

Then Maino went close. Hans Marksman’s eye was on display as his efforts cut Dean Henderson’s right post, Palace’s keeper left Marooned.

Next, masturbation was also masturbating when a bright palace attack spread the home guard. Diogo Dalot admired rather than challenged Tyrick Mitchell’s ball over from the left, and Muñoz should have scored, but led wide.

Amorim talked about wanting to “improve” how the opponent’s last third was entered, but if they impressed, in flashes, in this department, there is a bigger problem in their defensive.

It is a continuous problem that Amorim must also solve. Example: Daichi Kamada could slip in behind unguarded, found and turn and set Mitchell. Wing-Back’s efforts flashed over Masturbation’s goal, and Mateta was a slightly larger pan away from connecting and detecting.

Like a Marauding Force, United had disappeared. They woke up short to knit a few passports along the left of the palace as the ball was rolled back to Lisandro Martínez, he flamed loudly.

When masturbation grabbed a smart work palace free kick, he threw the ball to Mazraoui, who carefully careful along the right. Amad Diallo took over, discovered the I-Trav Fernandes and the Captain’s first time Hit missed marginally.

There was more: This time on a United Dead Ball, Fernande’s curved delivery was greeted by Harry Maguire and Ugarte, sliding, unloaded, but Henderson saved well.

This phase of this half looked like the opening of the first half: United pressed but lacked teeth. A sweeping Martínez ball was pinged on a left-right diagonal in Diallo, but he couldn’t find goals.

At the hour, Oliver Glasner brought his star male Eze, which was not suitable enough to start, but healthy enough to create the opener. The wing’s free kick was aimed at Lacroix, Lenny Yoro was seriously exceeded, the defender’s header beating the flailing masturbation and pinching from the bar for Mateta to drive home.

With 20 minutes to go Hojlund replaced Maino, and Zirkzee was introduced to Mazraoui. For this game, at least the Mainoo experiment was failed.

Before this EZE’s ability to Bodywerve molded Martínez as a defender, who was prepared from United’s junior ranks, and whose No. 10 had not been blinded, also by his snake in her when he tried the trick again-was Palace’s again two.

Literal damage was stacked on top of the insult from Palace’s rise as Martínez curled and had to be transported on a stretcher. It is reminiscent of a similar episode, against West Ham last February, when the Argentine LED medial security band injury and was out for almost two months. The hope will be that the 27-year-old is not so seriously injured.

At the dense palace fans were cheering and Amorim had more explanatory to do.
