Why is the world’s largest rubber water on Seattles Horizon?

Space Needle will not be the only defining monument along Seattle’s skyline. Mama Duck, the world’s largest rubber water, has invaded Emerald City.

Mama Duck went into town on the 31st of January for Seattle Boat ShowWith his stay expected to last through February 8th. At about 61 feet in height, the giant rubber water is currently at the top of the Lumen Field Event Center -Parking House. After his stint in Seattle, Mama Duck is sent to Florida for Georgefest, a celebration of George Washington’s birthday, according to Duck’s Website.

The Seattle Boat Show shows an impressive series of boats and yachts along with some now-public pioneering marine technology across 295 exhibitions, giving local nautical enthusiasts a chance to review and see hundreds of boats. There are a total of more than 800 boats to see.

Among the exhibitions in the Seattle Boat Show is Little Toot, a 20-foot ranger-logging boat filled with approx. 2,000 rubber ducks. According to Kiro 7Show organizers have hidden some “lucky ducks” that contain codes for prizes such as wakeboards, fishing gear, $ 500 shopping sprees and Seahawks tickets.

Revenue from the venting goes toward Salmon for soldiersA non-profit charity that gives “a sense of normality and relaxation for our country’s veterans through fishing.”
