There is still no love lost between Gabriel and Erling Harland

It has been a hectic opening of half an hour on the Emirates, with Arsenal taking the lead after 103 seconds, a goal rejected, a great rescue and a big miss.

In the mix of all this, the Premier League’s new largest individual rivalry continues to grow.

After the three -feeping at the end of the reverse fixture in September, when Haaland had only a few words with the Arsenal players, especially telling them to “remain humble”, there was definitely a bit of spice for things.

Gabriel did not hide it in pre-match interviews, and he certainly did not when Martin Ødegaard gave Gunners the lead within two minutes.

He ran up the field to his teammates, and made sure to remind Haaland who was ahead of the game, and maybe also in the battle between the two?

It’s been a while since the league has had properly bad blood or beef between players, and for those who remember Roy Keane vs Patrick Vieira’s days, is the brilliant view.

Long it must continue.
