Motor brand asks for evacuation of Houston -Flying, Video Shows

A United Airlines flight from Houston to New York was evacuated on Sunday morning due to flames coming from a engine, video shows.

Flight 1382 was about to leave George Bush Intercontinental Airport for Laguardia Airport right after 7 p.m. 8:30, when the crew “received an indication of an engine and stopped the start while he was still on the runway,” United said in a statement.

ONE Video that circulates on social media showed smoke and flames coming out of one of the engines in the aircraft, an Airbus A319.

All 104 passengers safely left the aircraft to the runway using slides and stairs and became the bus to a terminal, the airline said. There were no reported injuries.

Passengers were scheduled for another flight on Sunday afternoon, the airline said.

Houston Fire Department said it did not respond to the fire. The federal aviation administration said it was investigating.

It was not the only aviation question to the surface on Sunday.

Few said that the primary system of sending real -time security warnings to pilots was back online after being down for several hours.

Transport secretary Sean Duffy said late Saturday that the alarm system experienced a “temporary power outage” and that a few used a backup system to send security alarms.

The episodes came a few days after a passenger flight, and an army helicopter collided across the Potomac River near Washington, DC, killing all 64 people in the plane and the three crew of the helicopter.
