Italian judging expert argues Inter Milan should have had ‘clear punishment’ in Derby Draw vs AC Milan

Italian judging expert Luca Mareilli feels that Inter Milan should have had a “clear punishment” against AC Milan in Derby.

Talking about Italian TV Company Dazn, via FCINTER1908Marelli argued that there was no doubt that Strahinja Pavlovic’s challenge on Marcus Thuram was a mistake and a spot kick.

In the end, Inter and Milan had to settle for a point.

It was a dramatic final that saw Nerazzurri defender Stefan de VRIJ score in stopping time to save a result.

But before that, Inter had knocked on the door throughout the other half.

Inter hit the post on three occasions. There were countless crosses and corner kicks into the box.

And then there was also a big penalty kick from Nerazzurri.

This came after the inter -striker Marcus Thuram Was through on goal, in a foot race with Milan Deficiency Strahinja Pavlovic.

Thuram was able to recover between Pavlovic and the ball. But the Serbian former Red Bull Salzburg defender bundled him into the penalty area.

Marelli: “Inter Milan refused a clear punishment vs AC Milan”

Meanwhile, Milan defender Theo Hernandez had also returned to cover. The Frenchman slipped in to clear the ball from danger.

Subsequent repetitions, however, showed a bunch of legs between Marcus Thuram and Pavlovic.

The Milan defender seemed quite clearly to have stumbled the Inter striker.

And the Italian judging expert Luca Marelli claimed that “the decision was not correct for me for me.”

“Theo Hernandez’s Slide Tackle is quite good,” he continued.

“But what was not Pavlovic’s contact at Thuram,” Marelli said. “It was a careless mistake, the contact is clearly clear, and in my opinion it was a punishment.”

As far as why was not interfering to award inter -punishment, mouseed Marelli “Good question.”

“All the elements were to intervene were there, he argued.
