Indianapolis (Wish) – The Indiana fever continues to make the watch list in front of the season opener on Saturday 17 May. Sunday, the new feverfront office decided to waive the former Indiana Hoosier -standout Grace Berger.

Berger was prepared Seventh together in the 2023 WNBA draft of his hometown team – much to the excitement of Hoosier’s already passionate female basketball fan base. At that time, the addition of Berger was a boost for ticket sales and reintroduced the popularity of the fever in Indianapolis – even before the preparation of Caitlin Clark the following year.

In his rookie season, Berger played 36 games and shot an average of 44.9 percent off the field, but never saw the starting lineup.

In 2024, Berger Berger will fall with the addition of Clark. She played only 11 games and then broke her thumb in November while playing in Spain during the WNBA season.

From the waiver of Berger, the latest transaction for the fever is after a busy week of Trades and free agency signals. Veteran Guard Kelsey Mitchell signed a new contract to return to the fever earlier this week. Then the team added two-time all Star Natasha Howard from Free Agency and traded for Phoenix Mercury’s Sophie Cunningham.

Earlier Sunday, the fever also added the former Connecticut Sun All Star Dewanna Bonner, who an average of 15 points and six rebounds last season. Bonner follows head coach Stephanie White, who made her own step from the sun to the fever this season.
