TV legend David Letterman is at the Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City on Sunday for Caitlin Clarks Jersey Retirement Ceremony.

Hawkeye Radio Broadcasters said Letterman is sitting with former Iowa coach Lisa Bluder and her family. Jersey pension ceremony is held after Iowa vs. USC game.

Letterman is a proud Indiana inborn. Clark is on his way into his second season with Wnbas Indiana fever.

Clark joined Letterman in December for a public conversation at Ball State University for his prestigious professional lecture and workshop series.

Letterman, the former “Late Show” host and a candidate for Ball State, Interviewed Clark after his first season in WNBA, after winning this year’s Rookie. In August, Letterman Clark saw play in an Indiana Fever game in Indianapolis.

Other notables at Carver-Hawkeye Arena today

Former Iowa teammates Kate Martin, Gabbie Marshall and Monika Czinano took the trip to Carver to celebrate Clark’s big day. Martin played in an unmatched 3-to-3-League match on Saturday in Miami before getting on a plane for Iowa.
