The Denver Police Department said on a warning on Sunday that they are investigating a shooting in Washington Park. In a follow-up update, the Denver police said a person was shot at Washington Park on Sunday and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The Denver police have taken a person in custody in relation to the shooting.

“DPD officers are investigating a shooting in Washington Park. Officers are working to collect more information. Updates will be sent to this thread,” police said in a post on X.
