How to see Detroit Red Wings vs. Vancouver Canucks – NHL (2/2/25) | Channel, power, preview

Vancouver-Detroit Red Wings are set to pack their trip through western Canada on Sunday night when they take on Vancouver Canucks in the second half of a back-to-back.

The red wings are started by this western road trip strong. After surpassing the Edmonton Oilers this last Thursday, the team swept Alberta by taking down Calgary Flames with a 3-1 win on Saturday night and extending Detroit’s victory for five.

Thanks to this strong play, the red wings have a shot on moving into an endgame on Sunday. Detroit, sitting sixth in the Atlantic Division, is a point back on the last Wild Card site at the eastern conference.

Canucks has been very busy over the past few days and provided JT Miller to the New York Rangers while acquiring Marcus Johansson from Pittsburgh Penguins. The team hopes the movements pay off in their quest to enter the playoffs.

Vancouver is fifth in the Pacific Division, a point out of a wild card at the western conference.

This is the second and final meeting this season between the two teams where Vancouver won the first meeting in Detroit, overtime, back in early December.
