NBA -Fans respond to Victor Wembanyama, Chris Paul News

While fans over the NBA are still occupied by the wrestlers news about Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis trade, the NBA season is still far from past with important dates on the horizon. For San Antonio Spurs, they will enjoy their off-day on Sunday before going to Memphis to start their six-game road trip leading into All-Star weekend.

As for the All-Star weekend this year, the spurs are set to be well represented with Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle on their way to their respective events. However, the latest news shows that Wembanyama will add another all-star weekend event to his schedule and do it with his veteran teammate.

As reported by Chris Haynes, Wembanyama and teammate Chris Paul will represent Spurs as partners in Skills Challenge on All-Star Weekend. Paul, a 12-time all-star, has not made the game since his time in Phoenix with Suns, but will now return to an event.

After the news fans have taken to social media to respond to the duo:

“Thank God they did not pair him with Ant again,” commented a user with relief.

“This is actually pretty cool,” replied a user.

“Thought CP3 was traded,” commented a user after Blockbuster trade this weekend.

“All Star Weekend, representing ,” commented on a proud Spurs fan.

Based on interactions, fans are still worked from the broken news yesterday with Doncic and Davis, but also happy to see the duo go out and try to win the Skills Challenge. Since the start of the competition in 2003, a Spurs player has only participated once with Tony Parker in 2012.
