Coldplay Chris Martin, Dakota Johnson New Video from Maha Kumbh 2025 becomes viral as pairs take holy dip at Sangam

Singer Chris Martin from British band Coldplay visited Maha Kumbh 2025 at Prayagraj during his visit to India last month. Now a new video of him is seen the rounds where he, together with his partner, actor Dakota Johnson is seen taking a holy dip at Sangam.

The video was shared by a fan on Instagram who also took a holy dip in the same place when he discovered Chris and Dakota together, folded his hands and greeted other devoted at Sangam. The video that was overwritten as “When you can’t go to the concert, the artist comes to you – at Kumbh Mela! Taken a Sangam Snan with none other than Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Dakota who followed every ritual with deep respect. Music unites but faith exceeds.

While Chris was seen in a pair of black shorts, Dakota carried a printed cotton Kurta Over a pair of orange pants. At one point in the video, the singer is seen greeting the partner to the man who recorded and shared the video online.

It is believed that Chris and Dakota took an early dip in the rivers Holy Waters of the Ganga and Yamuna. Previously, another video of the two viral where Chris was seen inside his car greeted the devoted by making funny faces on the way back to the airport.

The singer was in India for five concerts as part of his music from Sphereres World Tour. He performed two jigs in Mumbai and three in Ahmedabad, making a world record for the highest number of participants at his concert ever. The Ahmedabad concert, which was organized at the scattered Narendra Modi Stadium, was also the largest ever ticket concert that India has hosted.

The concert, which happened on January 26, so Chris also present a reproduction of Maa Tujhe Salaam and Vande Mataram to entertain the crowd and join them in the Republic Day celebrations.
