If Beyonce had won nine Grammys on Sunday, she would also have broken Michael Jackson and Santana’s bound record for the most grammys won over a night; Jackson won eight awards in 1984, and Santana won eight in 2000.

Sunday’s ceremony could still give Beyoncé her first Grammy to this year’s album.
