Alicia Keys say DEI “is a gift” under Grammy -To

Alicia Keys advocates diversity initiatives as her work is recognized by the 67 Grammy Awards.

After winning Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at Sunday’s award exhibition, Keys shining a light on other female music producers and called for more platforms for different voices.

“This is not time to close the diversity of voices,” Keys said. “We have seen on this stage talented, hard -working people with different backgrounds with different views, and that changes the game. Dei is not a threat, it’s a gift. “

Beyoncé led the nominations with 11 categories, followed by Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone and Charli XCX to Seven each, and Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan with six pieces.
