LAPD Monitoring Great Protest in Los Angeles Centrum – NBC Los Angeles

A rally that opposes the Trump Administration’s immigration craving fell down on the center of Los Angeles on Sunday, at times the 101 highway blocked.

Hills of protesters flowed to the center of Los Angeles in what police described as a “Non-Tilladous demonstration.” LAPD said it monitored a peaceful protest that went to the town hall and then moved into the highway, according to Officer Lee.

A spreading order was issued at. 18, when law enforcement began to close in the protesters to get them off the streets and the 101 highway.

“Many people are scared but I hope if you see this and you are scared I hope you know that we all are here, fighting for you and this is just the beginning and we don’t give up , “said one of those protesters.

Some of the protesters told NBC4 that they found out the demonstration after watching a social media post called for people to protest on deportations.

Video taken from the rally showed hundreds of protesters singing, marshed and held signs referring to President Donald Trump’s harsh attitude towards immigration. It is unclear whether the large group obtained a permit for their rally, LAPD said.

As a result of the demonstration, Spring Street was closed from 1st Street to Temple Street. At. 13:30 the protesters moved from the highway and the lanes were reopened.

Another group of protesters blocked the 101 highway near Boyle Heights. Police officers tried to make them go west and off the highway.
