Edward Jones donates to the Alexandria Education Foundation in honor of employee – Alexandria Echo Press

Alexandria – Alexandria Edward Jones branches raised money to honor their colleague, Ruth Molloy, who died in 2024 after fighting for cancer.

They presented the Alexandria Education Foundation with a $ 2,600 donation in the name of “Ruth’s Legacy.”

Molloy trained the Alexandria area for decades in the financial sector with Bremer Bank and Edward Jones. By donating funds to the Alexandria Education Foundation, they plan to help educate young people when they associate with teachers on financial education.

Molloy’s husband, Joe and son, Todd, also participated in the donation presentation.

A Fortune 500 company, Edward Jones is the largest US financial service company in the number of financial advisers and is consistently ranked as a best place to work.

By Echo Press Staff Report

Our news room occasionally reports stories under a byline of “staff”. Often, the “staff” cityline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that come from official sources, such as a press release from the city about a road closure, which requires little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes several writers or when the story is formed by gathering previously reported news from different sources. If external sources are used, it is noted in the story.
