Mild Monday with heights in the 60s | February 3, 2025 – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

Indianapolis (Wish) – incredibly mild conditions expected for the day today with high temperatures climbing into the 60s. Readings start to fall for the rest of the week, but the temperature still stays above normal.

Today: Temperature started this morning into the 40s, which is already above our normal height for this time of year. Look for temperatures to climb into the 60s later in the afternoon. Our record high for today is 67, so we will be close to a record but not break it.

Look for mostly cloudy sky in much of the day today. We will see a little sunshine looking through a lot like what we had yesterday. Generally, very mild conditions with temperatures expected well above normal for this time of year.

Tonight: Heaven is partially cloudy during the night and the temperatures fall close to freezing. So a cool and cloudy night is expected.

Tuesday: Quiet conditions on Tuesday, but it will feel much cooler than today. Look for mostly sunny sky on your Tuesday with high temperatures in the mid -40s. The normal high for this time of year is 38, so we will see temperatures that are still above normal, just not as hot as Monday.

Wednesday: We see a system that will move across the state on Wednesday. This gives us a chance for some rainfall. When the rainfall begins, the temperatures will be just around that freezer, so we will see the potential for a little freezing rain to start. When temperatures start to warm up a little later in the afternoon, we will see a cool rain. High temperatures will be more than likely to be late in the day on Wednesday in the 40s. But much of the day will be in the 30s.

7 days Extended prognosis: Spread showers possible on Thursday otherwise mostly cloudy sky. Heights on top out in the lower 50s. On Friday, we will continue to see mostly cloudy sky with high temperatures staying in the 30s. This is much closer to normal for this time of year. Over the next weekend we will see temperatures climbing back into the lower 40s.
