(The hill) – High -ranking officials of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) were placed on administrative leave after they refused to turn classified material to teams from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Officials spoke to Associated Press Sunday to say that USAID members eventually failed to succeed, and DOGE teams were able to access some of the agency’s classified information, including intelligence reports.

John Voorhees and Deputy Brian McGill were the two employees who felt they were legally obliged to refuse DODE -team access after they did not have a high enough security ready. They refused to allow the DODE staff and threatened to call us marshalls, NBC News reported.
