Cooper Kupp says his run with Los Angeles Rams comes to an end – toward his will.

The broad recipient revealed on Monday that the team plans to act despite his wishes to remain in the organization.

“I was informed that the team will immediately seek a trade and will work with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships,” Kupp wrote on x. “I do not agree with the decision and always thought it would start and end in LA.

“Still, if there is one thing that I have learned over the years: There are so many things that are out of your control, but that’s how you respond to these things that you want to look back on and remember.”

Kupp, who turns 32 in June, repeated in January his plans to play in 2025 despite missing 18 games in the last three seasons due to injury.

“2024 began with one of the best training camps in my career,” Kupp wrote on Monday. “Preparations now start in 2025. Very motivated, as healthy as ever, and look forward to playing elite football in the coming years.”

Kupp a third round of elections out of eastern Washington in 2017 and enjoyed a breakout season in 2021 when he led the NFL with 145 catches, 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns. He earned the Super Bowl 56 honors after drawing in eight catches in 92 yards and two touchdowns, including the game -winning score with 1:25 left.
