China counts with customs duties on US products. It will also examine Google

Beijing (AP)-China Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday announced that it implemented counter-rigs against the United States on multiple products while announcing other trade-related measures, including a study by Google.

The government said it would implement 15% duty on coal and liquid natural gas products as well as a 10% duty on crude oil, agricultural machinery, large shear cars.

“The United States’ unilateral customs rise seriously violates the rules of the World Trade Organization,” the statement states. “It is not only helpful to solve its own problems, but also harms the normal financial and trade cooperation between China and the United States.”

The 10% duty President Donald Trump Ordered at China was set to take effect on Tuesday, although Trump was planning to talk to Chinese President Xi Jinping for the next few days.

China’s Market Regulation State Administration Tuesday said it is investigating Google on suspicion of violation of antitrust legislation. While the message did not specifically mention any tariffs, the message came just minutes after Trump’s 10% Tariffs had to take effect.
