Claressa Shields makes Boxing History as 1. Ever female undisputed heavyweight master

Boxer Claressa Shields made history in the ring on Sunday night.

Shields dropped Danielle Perkins to become the first ever undisputed woman’s heavyweight master.

She is also the first boxer, male or woman who is the undisputed master of three different weight classes in the four-belt era. Shields did it in Junior Midweight and Middle Weasure before this bang.

Shields gave Kudos to Perkins after the match and said she was “strong like hell” with her blows in the ring. However, Shields was patient and hit at the last second when Perkins’ guard was down.

“My experience and my abilities got me over it, and also I have been in lots of street fighting with bigger people and I had to use some of my abilities in it today. So when I fell her in the last round, That’s because she got greedy, ā€¯Shields said of her opponent.

Shields landed 29% of her battles on Perkins as well as 36% of her power storm. Perkins landed only 19% of the beats.

It was a unanimous decision on the card as the judges gave up the match in favor of Shield’s 97-92, 99-90 and 100-89.
