Amy Schumer recreates ‘TrainWreck’ dance scene with Knicks City Dancers

Amy Schumer still has it!

When Los Angeles Lakers faced New York Knicks on Saturday, February 1st, the actress and comedian, 43, took the audience in Madison Square Garden surprisingly by recreating the most iconic scene from her film TrainWreck – 10 years after the movie came out.

During the break at the heated basketball match in New York City, Knicks City Dancers Schumer invited to court. The Cheerleading troop called the star, who was originally shocked by Gestus, out of her court seat with the camera and called her to Center Court, where she then mistakenly performed a dance to “Uptown Girl” by Billy Joel.

The coordinated group number containing the Schumer Front and Center was not exactly the same as the dance she does with Knick’s cheerleaders in TrainWreck Like a gesture to her love interest Bill hate hate. However, it was similarly intense – even including a spark line.

The quick dance ended with a group bag and Schumer blew kisses to the crowd, which also included LeBron James, who starred in his 2015 movie. It also served her a high honor – a “rookie of the year” title – in a feature on Knicks City Dancers’ Instagram.

And on her Instagram, Schumer shared some clips from the dance number as well as some shots of her hanging court at Lakers vs. Knicks -game with the role crew of her latest film, Kinda pregnantIncluding Jillian Bell, Will Forte and Brianne Howey.

The recreation also received a great reaction from Schumer’s Celebrity Pals, who filled her Instagram with praise for the number. “This is iconic,” Olivia Munn commented on her post, and Chelsea trades said, “Yes!”

Meanwhile, Katie Couric, who was on MSG for the performance, wrote, “So glad I was there to witness this! Go Amy! ”

TrainWreck -As Schumer Co-wrote with Judd Apatow-marked her feature film debut. Rome-Com in 2015 follows Amy (Schumer), a magazine writer who does not believe that monogamy is realistic as she navigates to fall in love for the first time with sports doctor Aaron Conners (hate). James, 40, plays Aron’s best friend.

Amy ends up performing with Knick’s City dancers in the film to win Aaron back in her own words, showing him that she “can work hard” metaphor “for their relationship in the film.

Schumer’s latest film Kinda pregnantMeanwhile, the comedian follows, as Lainy, an English teacher in Brooklyn who, jealous of his best friend Kate’s (Bell) pregnancy, decides to wear a fake baby pump – then accidentally meets his dream man Josh (Forte) and gets caught in promote a growing lie.

The film, which hits Netflix on February 5, is “Laugh-out-Loud Funny and Relatable,” Schumer previously told People.

The comedian also teased at least one emotional scene with character Megan, played by Howey. “Bri and I filmed a really special intimate scene, will cry-Laugh watch this movie.”
