NJ Gov. Phil Murphy reveals that he houses a migrant in his residence – and tells Fed’s ‘good luck’ trying to get her

New Jersey government Phil Murphy revealed that he houses an immigrant in his home and dared to Trump administration doing something about it.

Murphy Made admission during an interview This last weekend with Blue Wave New Jersey, a progressive grassroots organization.

“Tammy (Murphy) and I talked about – I don’t want to get too much detailed, but there is someone in our wider universe whose immigration status is not yet at the time they are trying to get it. And we said, you know what? Let’s make her live in our house over our garage, ”said the Democratic Governor.

“And good luck to Feds coming in to try to get her,” Murphy added, apparently hinting that the person may be an illegal immigrant. Fox News Digital reached out to Murphy’s office for more information, but they did not immediately answer.

Revelation comes as American immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) has performed operations in New Jersey, especially with a RAID in Newark at the end of January.

“Public trust is important for public security. Our office has requested more information from the Trump administration about the recent immigration enforcement action in Newark, so we have a clear understanding of facts in this case, ”a spokesman for Murphy told PIX11 After this operation.

ICE did not immediately respond Monday at a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Trump Border Czar Tom Homan told Fox News in December that consciously having and hiding an illegal immigrant from ICE is a “violation of the law.”
