To say goodbye to three jones

Handling always comes at a price. While the spurs drew a fantastic feat in acquiring De’Aaron Fox without letting go of any starters, there is still a loss.

Three Jones was the longest employee of San Antonio Spurs behind Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell (the latter was prepared earlier that evening). He was elected 41. In 2020 by Spurs. San Antonio was the only team he played for so far. He has raised his family here.

Jones has done everything Spurs have asked for him. He started when the spurs needed him and entered the shadows when needed.

He has remained ready and willing, and when he played, he brought the added value to the team.

From the field, he served as ambassador for the team and always brought smiles to fans at a variety of events.

Players come and go and it is acceptable to complain about those who have had influence.

I’m excited about Spur’s next phase, but I will miss three Jones.

A big thing about Silver & Black is that they honor the former members of the team.

If we assume that Jones will end the season in Chicago, we will not see him again until next season. Make sure Popovich and the team make him feel welcome.

Until then, I wish him well and hope he continues to blink the winning smile and put his best foot forward.
