Jon Stewart Loses Sats at New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson

Jon Stewart was forced to carry something green when Purple and Gold visited New York Knicks on Saturday night.

The comedian, political commentator and Die-Hard New York Sports was present for the expected showdown between Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers, resulting in a loss for the home layer.

However, Stewart did not have his usual clothes: Thanks to an effort he made with Captain and Point Guard Jalen Brunson, Stewart wore a Philadelphia Eagles Jersey and Bucket Hat in his first -class seats in Madison Square Garden.

“An effort is an effort,” the host of “The Daily Show” said in an X -post that revealed his wardrobe error with a humorously worn look at his face. “See you tonight, Jalen Brunson.”

Stewart’s accident originated from Roommates show block party In September, when he was a guest for the live recording of Brunson’s podcast, hosted Matt Hillman and Knick’s teammate Josh Hart. The two bet on the NFL show in October between Brunson’s Eagles and Stewarts New York Giants at Metlife Stadium, where the loser was exposed to donate a jersey of Victor’s choice on a KNICKS game on MSG.

Brunson made it clear that he would force Stewart to wear the uniform of the Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, a former giant who made the trip up the turntable to put a winged helmet on. A brilliant return for Barkley was one of many highlights in a season that ends in the Super Bowl: The Rusher, haunted his formerly forfearing public, putting 176 yards and opening scoring in a 28-3 shellacking in East Rutherford.

Stewart is apparently missing Clemency Brunson assigned HART: It was originally reported that the “roommates” discussed a “entertaining” effort on the NFC championship between Eagles and Hart’s beloved Washington commanders. However, Brunson lightened up on Hart, present at Lincoln Financial Field for Philadelphia’s 55-23 triumph. The newly embossed All-Star Game Starter noted that sharing Hart’s location on X when he left the game early was punishment enough.

Stewart’s nightmare continues next Sunday when Philadelphia faces Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl Lix (18:30 ET, FOX).
