The 12 best dressed stars at 2025 Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards red carpet has always been something of a fashion space. It is a place for artists to let their freak flag fly, be unpainted, to define and redefine cool and emphasize the vision behind their art, whether in vintage or couture or some kind of costume. This year was no different. Artists like Sabrina Carpenter and Troye Sivan gave us beautiful in Pastel, while Doechii stunned in Thom Browne and Lady Gaga, who officially entered her villain era in a dark Gothic custom Vivienne Westwood dress.

It was a banner year for music and the best stars celebrated in style. Below are the musicians whose appearance made our hearts sing.

Miley Cyrus in Saint Laurent

Cyrus killed it tonight in a black leather dress from Saint Laurent. It was a relatively tame dress compared to her incredible Bob Mackie moment from last year’s Grammys, but hello, that’s why she’s a fashion icon – because she can make the world squeez with sequins and do the same without decorating at all.

Sabrina Carpenter in JW Anderson

The former Disney star looked like a Gen Z Cinderella in her light blue, spring-blessed, seriously low-backed dress designed by Jonathan Anderson. It hit all the right notes that reminded her fans of why they were standing for her and her style so hard.

Gracie Abrams in Chanel

Abrams went full Chanel breaking on Grammy’s red carpet tonight and it was a perfect look for her. Subtle, sweet and a touch of rebellious, the appearance was sublime, from hue to the camel to the veil attached to the neckline off-the shoulder.

Charli XCX in Jean Paul Gaultier Couture

A custom look that came almost from the runway? So abruptly. Charli XCX was to die for in a ruffled, corset dress that Ludovic de Saint Sernin created as a guest designer for Jean Paul Gaultier Couture.

Olivia Rodrigo in Vintage Versace

There were plenty of cuts on tonight’s red carpet, but get bare them as well as Olivia Rodrigo. She has always been a fan of wearing vintage fashion, and tonight was no exception when she stepped out in a black Versace dress from the spring of 2000.

Kacey Musgraves

Tank tops on the red carpet are almost always a good idea, and Kacey Musgraves got the note. She looked fabulous in a white tank, belt and gold bead -column -skirt from Ralph Lauren’s Spring 2025 collection.

Doechii in Thom Browne

It was a huge evening for Doechii. Not only did she win a Grammy for Best Rap album for “Alligator Bites Heal Never Heal,” but she also had a bang of a performance. Throughout the show, she was decorated in Thom Browne -Look, including a crossed Pintripe -column dress, Pannier pants and yes, a set of underwear. It all proved that she is one of the most incredible new talents to look at, with style to match.

Lady Gaga in Samuel Lewis

She has come a long way since the meat dress. Tonight, Gaga chose a beautiful custom dress by independent designer Samuel Lewis, who has also dressed them like Madonna and Chappell Roan. Between the blunt smell, the black hair and the Victorian Gothic fantasy fashion, it seems that thought gaga may be in her villain’s era.

Troye Sivan in Prada

The thin scarf has made the rounds in the Lord’s fashion trends recently, but few have worn it better than Troye Sivan tonight. According to his stylist Marc Forn’s Instagram stories, the appearance was a reference that the purple Prada dress Uma Thurman wore to Oscars from 1995. We love you, Troye.

Chappell Roan in Jean Paul Gaultier

Kappell Roan was dressed in a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier Couture dress from the spring of 2003 and was – as she always is – a living artwork. Her incredible red carpet moment was only darkened by her incredibly moving speech as she accepted the award for best new artist. She is a strength and so is her style.

Kim Gordon in Céline

No one is cooler than Kim Gordon except Kim Gordon in a black tuxedo jacket and Mini Bedazzled Devil horn.
