Highline public schools at 2-hour delay Monday due to bad weather

Highline public schools are Operation On a two-hour delay on Monday, February 3, 2025 due to bad weather, with buses running on alternative routes.

The delay means that all buses pick up students on alternative stops two hours later than usual. The school will be dismissed at normal times and students will also be dropped at alternative stops in the afternoon.

Other schedule changes include:

  • No breakfast service
  • No morning or afternoon outdoor school and ECEAP classes
  • No morning classes at Puget Sound Skills Center (PSSC) but afternoon PSSC classes continue as planned
  • All pre-school programs, clubs, activities and daycare in school canceled
  • No transport will be delivered to schools outside the district

Personnel expectations

District staff are expected to report to work as close to the time as possible using personal estimates regarding security. Further guidance on employees’ expectations of bad weather is available on staff.
