Blake Shelton’s surprising ‘return’ to the voice

Fans of The voice Wishing “another night” with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton – and they got it. Well, kind.

Viewers watching Season 27 -the premiere of the NBC Singing Competition Show Monday was in a whole surprise when the retired coach returned to the show in a stealthy way. With Levine’s return six years after his exit in 2019, there was no way that the network would let a Shelton moment slip by.

Shelton, who left after season 23 in May 2023, kept his bromance alive with the Maroon 5 singer in a very lube way. The new coach Kelsea Ballerini was given the power to tease Levine with a Shelton Diss. The 48-year-old Country Star’s pre-recorded comments allowed Ballerini to have an advantage over her rivals, including Levine, John Legend and Michael Bublé and it was fun!
